Description:
This introductory core session marks the launch of the NetZeroCities Learning Programme. It is designed to provide an overview of the broader context of the EU Cities Mission, with a particular emphasis on its strategic vision and goals. Selected Mission Cities will also share success stories, offering practical examples of progress toward climate neutrality.
This session will include an introduction to the NetZeroCities offer available to new cities through the Mission Platform, highlighting key features, objectives, and upcoming events. Participants will also be introduced to the structure and focus of the Learning Programme, including its learning pathways and upcoming modules, with the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion.
By the end of the module participants will:

Be inspired by how Mission Cities have successfully planned for climate neutrality.

Learn about the support available from NZC and how to access key learning resources offered to all cities. Connect with other cities through groups and events.

Gain ideas on how to build capacity for action, even when resources are limited.
