Topic: NetZeroCities programme, offering, systemic approach, what works in mission cities
Description:
The second session of Module 1 of the NetZeroCities Learning Programme focuses on deepening participants' understanding of the Mission Approach and the critical role cities play in driving urban transformation.
The session will introduce the key components of the Mission Approach - such as acceleration, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and systems thinking - and examine how these elements support cities in progressing toward climate neutrality while addressing common challenges. It will also provide an overview of the Mission Cities, including their selection process and their role within the EU Cities Mission.
Success stories will offer practical examples, followed by breakout discussions where participants will reflect on local challenges and explore how mission-inspired solutions could be adapted to their own context.
By the end of the module participants will:
-
-
Be inspired by how Mission Cities have successfully planned for climate neutrality.
-
