Enabling City Transition - Malmö ECT activity

Malmö is integrating transformation design into city operations to accelerate climate neutrality. Malmö has piloted innovative climate processes in the city with roadmaps for seven transition areas and worked with cross-sectoral coordination, but further work is needed to break silos and speed up the transition. This project focuses on embedding transformation capabilities into governance structures by sensemaking, understanding the transition on a local geographical scale and promoting a collaborative approach that links internal transition teams with external stakeholders and other EU Mission Cities to foster a citywide climate transformation model.
